Jammy B’s Tuesday Night Pub Quiz started, as many heroic tales do, from very humble beginnings.
In 2007, Jammy B reluctantly offered to take over the weekly quiz at Goldsmiths Students’ Union. Little did he know that soon there would be people flocking for the silliness and shenanigans that make his quizzes legendary. Some people thought it was because they had some cheap drinks offers on the go but the critics knew that it was in fact the wondrous wizardry of the quiz-master who brought in the masses each week (Metro, 24 September 2008*).
As many as 600 people would join in with prizes up to £200 in cash and even a craftily negotiated Macbook Pro from his friends at Apple Inc were given away.
But like all good stories, Jammy B fell off the wagon and in September 2009 handed over his presenter’s remote and intro videos to someone new and the quiz was no more.
But now, two years on, Jammy B returns to the quiz-master’s chair to challenge, captivate and corrupt his audience. The jolly lovely people at Jam Circus in Brockley, South East London, have brought him onboard to deliver an all-new quiz experience to delight everyone. Every Tuesday, from 20 September.
